As I've drawn their Others, and I've drawn them, I decided to design Nix and Kit's Heartless.The bird is Nix's Heartless, Féinics. For her, I just went with the design of her Other, and a darker colour scheme. Kit's Heartless, Sionnach, shows the kitsune her Other was far clearer then the Nobody does.
I know their Heartless symbol can't be seen, but they both have one. On Féinics, it's on her back, between her wings. Sionnach has hers on her tunic, on the left side like a crest.
So there you go - simple and straightforward, but I really like how they turned out!

Very nice, as usual. It's amazing how much shading you can get with markers...and how smooth the result can be. Either that, or I never got the hang of the blasted things...
The detail is really good as well, especially the bird's feathers and the markings on the kitsune's eyes and dress. Oddly, it reminds me of a certain obscure Transformer and a less-than-obscure Naruto monster, but that's most likely a coincidence.

Who are you referring to in Transformers and Naruto? I can't think of a single Transformer that resembles either of these, and I've never either watched nor read Naruto.

Not entirely sure what markers I was using-markers are markers, if you ask me. I think it was Hilroy or something...And of course you're good. Nine-tailed demon fox-Heartless thingies shouldn't possibly look that hot...
As for the references...
-The bird looks a fair bit like this guy: [link] (the one in the left-hand corner, not the Megatron redeco. Heh.)
-The kitsune kind of reminds me of this beast:

Well, Féinics has a similar-ish colour scheme to her plumage, but beyond that, I don't see them as similar. For starters, the transformer is metal, and Féinics isn't
Sionnach - well, there's no surprise the Heartless of a Kitsune would remind you of a Kitsune from another show.
But I didn't reference this pair from anywhere - they're entirely my own

Oh, don't worry. Sionnach still looks creepy too. Sort of like a blue-ringed octopus-it looks really pretty, but you know you shouldn't be within ten feet of it, lest you want to die.
Well, the resemblence between Chro and Féinics is only really superficial and restricted to feather colour. I just happened to be looking up random Transformers on the Internet recently, and the second I saw that Heartless, Chro was the first thing that came to mind.

Tends to happen - if you were looking at something, and soon see something even slightly resembling it, you will see the similarity more then someone else would.
