Done in Corel Painter Essentials 2 using the "pencil" brush and reference.

Edit: Defined/added shading. Changed the hue.

I really like these little sketch pictures you do. The only problem that I see with this one is that it's a little difficult to differentiate between the collar of his jacket and his neck; all of the lines tend to trick my eyes a bit there. But otherwise this is a nice little picture.

Do these take you long to do?

Thanks GreyJedi They are certainly fun to make, these ones. I feel a lot looser art wise when drawing like this. Compared to my other art, these don't really take that long, but how long exactly eludes me. I'd first started this before Bijoux's laptop started having minor issues, so it was a while before I could return to finish it. A lot of the art I've submitted lately is just older work that I've rushed to finish in case the laptop stops working

Thanks for the feedback regarding his neck too I see what you mean, with the lines. The heavy, darkest lines are shadows on his neck......but I'm trying to work out what the rest of it is The reference picture I sketched from gave me problems regarding his shirt and jacket. I had a bit of trouble interpreting what was going on. Tomorrow I'll have a go at improving it

It looks like your tweaks fixed the picture up. I don't find that all the lines confuse my eyes anymore. As far as I can tell, it looks much better.

I suppose that explains how you've had so many pictures to submit in such a short time, if you're just finishing up old works. What sort of issues has Bijoux's laptop been having?
