Description Cast of Saving Private Ryan. I'll try fixing my 'Tom Hanks' sooner or later, I realize it looks nothing like him but I got fed up after several attempts at drawing him.

Top: Tom Hanks, Edward Burns, Tom Sizemore

Oh, you should check it out. It's really slow and meaningful, I think it's the greatest movie ever made. Also, I think Once Upon a Time in the West should be in the top five.

I've never seen that one ether. My top Western movie of all time is Tombstone. I think it's at like 12. Ever see Rear Window?

Ah man, Tombstone is badass. It wasn't a great movie (in my opinion), but it was really awesome entertainment. Never seen Rear Window, the only Hitchcock movies that I have seen are Psycho and Birds.

Ironiclly I've never seen birds and the thing that made Tombstone great movie is the incredible acting of Val Kilmeras Doc Holiday.

Totally. Val Kilmer is one of my favorite actors, he was badass in Tombstone, Batman, The Doors, and Top Gun, he's just a really neat guy. I just think that for a movie to be truly great, it should be at least a little bit profound, and I don't think Tombstone passes that test. Still, it was an exciting movie, and it beats the Kevin Costner version by a landslide.

rhiggins5173 In reply to edshu33 [2012-06-08 03:03:55 +0000 UTC]

I'd agree with the fact that it beats Kevin Costner's version but I have to disagree with Val Kilmer was good in Batman. The Val Kilmer Batman series, Batman Begins in particular, was an orphanage that caught fire on a submarine that crashed into the sunken wreckage of the Titanic. I heard that Johnny Depp was originaly supposed to play the riddler in The Dark Knight Rises but his character was cut to put in Bane. Also I Tombstone, for me, was the first violent movie I've ever been aloud to watch, way back like 12 years ago.

I liked Kilmer in Batman, he seemed to have enough confidence and charisma to make him a good Bruce Wayne. Umm, I'm pretty sure Val Kilmer wasn't in Batman Begins though, that was Christian Bale. Val Kilmer was only in Batman Forever. Like I said, Tombstone was neat, it just wasn't about anything except for how awesome Wyatt Earp was. Like, all of the other movies on your list have complex themes- Private Ryan is about the consequences of war, Pulp Fiction is about redemption and crime, The Godfather is about the cruel truth of the American Dream, Reservoir Dogs is about tough guys not actually being that tough, and Inception is about... a lot. Just, a lot of stuff.

Yea your right I meant to put Batman Forever, that piece of crap with Jim Carry. Why don't you do make your top 5? better yet do your top 100. I'll post mine if you post yours.

I didn't mind Batman Forever, I thought the production design was really neat, and it was still a lot better than Batman and Robin. Here's my list of my favorite movies, it goes in order of personal preference as opposed to greatness. [link]

Thats a good List, but in what world is Harlold and Kumar better than The Godfather, The Shinning and, Toy Story? s hang on I'll post my list in a second.

edshu33 In reply to rhiggins5173 [2012-06-08 15:38:56 +0000 UTC]

Like I said, those are movies that were my personal favorites, as opposed to a list based on quality (The Godfather would obviously be in the top ten if I were scoring these movies based on how good they were). Also, the list is still under construction, so it's not quite refined to its greatest singularity. I would probably move Toy Story up a few spots if I edited the list for a little bit longer. I just really liked Harold and Kumar, I think that when they ride the cheetah it may have been the funniest scene ever filmed.

Wow its beautiful!
I cant help but think of the Band of Brothers theme song when looking at this. For Tom Hanks,
He has a long, ovalish/square headshape,and a stubbly beard.
His nose is flatish,And you know what i think we all know how he looks so ill be quiet.
Great Job!
