This is my contest entry pic for 's contest!
Seeing everyone else submit their entries made me anxious to start mine ^^ I basically just drew what came to mind and it came out kind of crazy 
And when I heard White Bird what came to mind was wings, so I had to draw them to keep from losing my mind X3 But I can't draw wings very well, and I destroyed that staff when I outlined and colored it >_< I just could not find decent colors for that staff! And what's on his face isn't facial hair, they're markings. ^_^ That, the feather in the hair, and the bracelet were all inspired by Red 13's design 
And I don't know if changing the eye color was part of the contest, I just thought it looked better with his design *shrug* And yes, I was having fun with my new brushes x3 ~Phantomfan422 showed me where to get them a long time ago and I just now got them downloaded XD Many thanks! <333

Pff, you're perfectly capable of drawing wings. See? This pic is the solid proof!! XDD I think you pulled off the colors for the staff really well, too. So the "W" stands for White, right? Love the design of it.

I know, lineart-ing wings with PS is such a pain in the neck. Pen tool and I share a mutual hatred for each other. XDD That happens to me more often than I want, actually. I have this awesome design in my head and when I try to get it out on a piece of paper, it just... refuses to be drawn according to the blueprint from my imagination. 
I know I can't resist special brushes!! 8DD They're livesavors and they're fun!!! Ahahaha, you're VERY funny. You mean I'm not worthy for your amazing pictures. XD Still, glad to know you actually bother to read my blathers..

Wow! This looks fantastic! The pose, the background, the costume, and his expression all go really well together! I love the staff, too, of course! I think the coloring on it turned out fine! The costume itself looks really nice, as well! I was kinda hit by a random inspiration spark with that necklace that he's wearing. Do you mind if I use it in my fanfic? And I have to say again that I LOVE the pose that he's in, especially the way the cape and the wings compliment the pose! Thank you so much for the entry!
