This one is about Ol' Blue, my truck. It's a good truck. We've been down many a road together--some that maybe we shouldn't have ought to have went down, but we always come home safe and sound.
I know her and she knows me. I can tell when she's cranky and not up to snuff just by the sound of her engine and drivetrain as we're going down yet another road...the color of her exhaust...how she feels as I'm driving. I am her Knight, her Champion in the mechanics shop and always fight for what she needs to In return, Ol' Blue is a good listener and rarely critiques my singing. She provides endless hours of windshield time to think, to dream and to wonder. She takes me places I've been before and have never been before.

I both love her and I hate her and I'm sure she feels the same about me.

One day, we will be split apart and I will grieve for her, but it's not this day...
