The group was more than happy when their missing last member showed up right on time and so, completing their team ready for the event. The newcomer introduced herself as Poppy, already interacting with the Coat Leo and chatting with the siblings. Such bright, positive energy irradiated from this Wyngling, Saint thought.

Obi and Lykos were already discussing about their uniforms, brainstorming ideas until one of them decided to go with simple purple bandannas, to Saint's curiosity. They didn't have much access to more detailed outfits as the Nook can only provide so far. None of the Wynglings minded that.

As everyone gathered their brand new clothes, the Adult noticed a fourth piece Lykos was holding. His confusion shifted to realization when the kid approached him with it.

"Wait, I don't deserve to wear it too," said Saint, trying to refuse the uniform as politely as he could. "It is your event, little birds. I will just watch from behind and make sure you are safe, you do not need to make a uniform for me!"

The siblings looked at each other with slightly disappointed faces, fearing their only key to entering the contest would drop out. But Poppy was not so easy to defeat, as she borrowed the extra uniform from Lykos and tried a second attempt at the big Biped.

"But mister! You are part of our team too!" Poppy made signs for Saint to kneel down to be closer to her level and he obliged, "we want everyone to have fun, and that includes you too." As the Wyngling couldn't reach for his neck, she folded the bandanna and tied it on his wrist, hoping her words would reach out Saint.

The armored Wyngro went silent at the cream kid, sharing his glares between her and the tied cloth. It only took a couple of seconds before everyone heard a low sob coming from the Adult, his eyes glimmered like he's seen the cutest thing ever and might cause him death if continued.

Instead, Saint rose up trying to recompose himself with a big inhale, and then let out his breath with a soft laugh, "very well, you've got me." He said with a sigh, "My apologies."

"So..." Started Obi shyly, trying not to sound pushy, "you will still come with us?" The other two Wynglings walked to her and shared her stare at the Adult, as if they all found out his weakness and already took advantage of it.

And as expected, it worked. "Of course, my birds." Saint unknotted the bandanna to place it where it should be, tying it around his neck. "This time, as part of your team."

boi these kids are both cute and deadly for the pigeon and we ain't even had started the event rip
