I drew this to contribute to the Jem Cartoon Wardrobe at the pranceatron.com site. Pizzazz is wearing this tailcoat naval outfit in the "Star Spangled Fantasy" song clip but she doesn't appear in it on screen for long enough for me to make out whether the tailcoat is single breasted or double breasted. I've drawn it as a double breasted tailcoat coz I think it looks better. Also, I can see there is a centre emblem on the bicorne hat she wears but obviously we don't get a clear close up of that long enough to make out what it is. Being a once only fashion designed solely for use in the song video, I doubt there was even a model sheet for this outfit. Correct me if I'm wrong anyone, if you've actually sighted a fashion model sheet for this outfit & I'm happy to stand corrected. In any case I thought it appropriate to place the US emblem motif of the eagle on it.Krista has received the line art & is going to color it & upload it on her site for "The Presidential Dilemma" episode but when she'll get around to it anyone's guess. In the meantime, if anyone else wishes to color this...by all means feel free & do upload & share.

It's been such a long time since I've seen that episode and music video that outfit reminds of Napoleon Bonaparte.

I think she's supposed to be George Washington...:dunno: she's only stand at the front of the boat bossing the other Misfits about while they do all the hard work with rowing to shore. As mentioned, she only appears in that scene like that very briefly & then she falls backwards into the ocean.

I don't think it was one of the best episodes ever written, plot-wise but it was one of the ones that kept me on the edge of my seat wondering if finally Jerrica, her sisters & Raya were going to lose Synergy completely. There's no Jem & The Holograms without Synergy!

Thanks. To be quite fair though, it is hard to draw lots of details onto a small cartoon picture, that why I always do my ones big so I can put in all those details. When the large size picture is shrunk down to size like Krista does with her fashion pictures on her site, all those details I painstakingly drew disappear anyway. On closer inspection though, it does look like the tailcoat Pizzazz is wearing in the video clip is single breasted but I've drawn my one as double breasted.

Maybe Krista should take a good look at your work and leave all pictures large or at least mid-size to show the details.

The size that she has them work well for her pictorial database so I'm not fussed.
