My contest entry for 's Sailor Earth and Sailor Sun contest. I chose to do Sailor Sun. The coloring is horrible, please don't judge that my scanner messes that, it looks so much better in real life.---------------------------------------------------------------------------

She is Egyptian and is the oldest of the scouts, and was usually at the right hand of Queen Serenity in the Moon Kingdom. Many believed her element to be fire, like the burning of the sun, but hers is light, that shines hope on the planets her sun protects.

Really nice work on her body 
The only thing with this that I think would make it much better would be to introduce some more tonal values to this work. Right now there is little to no tone, so I would suggest to practice a bit more with shadows on the human figure because (even though it is hard to work out where shadows can fall on the figure) more shadows would really help this piece out. It would give her more form. Also even hair has it's own tonal values to it, you just have to look for shapes of tone in the hair and block in the darkest shades.
It's still a nice piece, great work on the body and face.
