this picture reminded me of "a Handmaid's Tale" by margaret atwood, so i decided to draw it. i'm still trying to learn how to draw people, but i think i'm getting better at it.i used stock as a reference, but i changed some things about the face, hair, shadows...etc--i don't want an exact copy
anyway, i'm happy with it and i'm going to enter it in the county fair tonight so i hope it wins the 4-H division. thanks to for the reference picture

wow the cloth looks so frekkin' real. her face is kinda off to me though i think the nose might be too circular? other than that awesome piece.

Beautiful drawing. I love the deatail in the sading, it's fantastic! Your facial anatomy is really good as well, nothing sticks out as being "wrong!".

This is pretty awsome... but the lips are a little off... the shape is perfect but they dont look wet... i have this problem all the time, and i think it's just a matter of making more defining lines/shapes to show the reflection... if you know how will you please tell me!?!?!? Cause this really rocks... especially the wrinkles in the clothes they're so hard to draw and you did a great job

Me too, i really can't paint lips at all, except for on the painting that i used for my avatar... besides that they never look great.

it's easier in oil cause you have time to fool with it
