i can’t watch old episodes of SU anymore without thinking about spinel simultaneously standing in the garden waiting for someone who isn’t coming back :’)
this is officially my most complicated and longest-taking piece ive ever made so please enjoy it, i almost broke my hand over it

This all makes sense now! This picture helped me just realised something, if pink diamond owned spinel, then got shattered by Rose Quartz then that would mean she couldn't come back to spinel since obviously she did get shattered but at the same time pink fakes her shattering to become rose quartz which would mean she totally forgot about spinel but also spinel must have found out just before the movie since Steven has pink diamonds/rose quartz gem so now that we put everything together it all makes sense! but this is absolutely amazing art! Keep up the amazing job!

pink is getting alot of hate lately for abandoning spinel and how irresponsible she was about leaving the diamonds and then leaving her problems for steven, but in spinel's case i feel like she did it to protect spinel from the war she led on earth- even if it wasn't in the best way.

mm I dunno, she didn't know there was going to be a war when she left her. She fully intended to turn Earth into a full colony until she got there and experienced it for herself, which was well after Spinel was left in the garden.
