Time for another story. This time, we're going a the first story in ages centeret around my trainsona. (Eagle eyed viewers will notice something different about him )

[Story]

[Narrator]
"One morning, Emil was getting ready for an early afternoon train, when Gordon stopped by him."

"Ah, i see the old gallopping sausage is hanging about today." Emil chuckled.

"PAH!" Grunted Gordon. "Why don't you go and do something useful?"

"I am!" smirked Emil back at him. "I'm due to pull my express coaches for a charter to Manchester"

Gordon scuffed. "There's only ONE set of express coaches, and those are mine! I should be the only express engine here."

Emil laughed "You say? Then why don't you fetch your coaches and prove your work?"

"I am!" said Gordon

"Then go get them." Smirked Emil, as he set off.

("Gordon was furious!")

[Scene change to Knapford Station]

"Later, Emil shunting his coaches into the station, when TVC and Emily Hatt stood there waiting for him."

"Hello, Sirs." Said Emil. "Got something to tell me?"

"Oh, nothing much." Replied Emily Hatt.

"It's a day of barely any office work, so we thought of looking out for you trains." Smiled TVC.

"Lovely!" Emil smiled grantly.

"Soon, Emil was ready to leave with his charter. Guard blews his whistle, and off he went."

"Cya sirs!" he said, as he left the station.

("Later that afternoon, Emil was ready to head home to Sodor, when a TPE Class 185 stopped next to him")

"Lovely looking coaches." Complemented the 185.

"Thanks!" replied Emil with a smile. "They do need a new lick of paint."

The 185 looked down the consist. "How old are they?" The 185 asked curiously

"The oldest of them is from 1973, so 51 years old." Emil replied

"FIFTY-ONE YEARS?!?!" Shouted the 185 in surprise.

"Yup. I'm from 1967, so i'm 57 years old." Chuckled Emil.

("The 185 turned pale")

("Guard blew his whistle and the doors slammed.")

"Nice chatting with yah!" Said Emil, as he left the Manchester station.

("On the way home, Emil was stopped at Vicarstown, Emily Hatt was waiting for him.")

"Hello again, Sir." Said Emil. "Is there a reason for me being stopped?"

"There is." she replied." Gordon's broken down on the Up Fast, heading to Knapford."

"But, that's the wrong way.." Emil stuttered

"It is. Because of the engineering works, we can't divert the Up trains around him." she explained.

"You mind give Gordon a push back to Knapford?" she asked.

"I shall try my best, sir." Said Emil.

("The signal turned to a double yellow, so Emil had to leave with slow speed")

[Scene changed to Gordon's location]

("Gordon was grumbling. His safety valve had burst, so he couldn't move.")

"Of course i had to break down here..." he grumbled.

"That's what you get for working too hard..." His driver bluntly replied.

[A two tone horn is heard]

"Oh no.. Not him..." Gordon Grumbled again.

"I see yah broke down, Gordon. Yah a need a push?" Emil chuckled.

"Yes, please..." Gordon said, much to his annoyance.

("Emil buffered up to Gordon's train, and slowly pushed the train along the line, whilst the diesel's many passengers cheered him on.")

("Soon, They'd roll into Knapford station. TVC was waiting.")

"Thank you for pushing Gordon home, Emil." said TVC. "You've done well."

"Thanks, sir." Said Emil back.

"You know what?" asked TVC.

"No, What?" asked Emil back.

TVC Smiled. "You and your coaches are getting a new coat of paint."

("Emil smiled from ear to ear.")

"Thank you sir." acknowledged Emil.

"Go have some rest. I'll find someone to take Gordon to be worked on." TVC said and left.

[Scene change to Emil's shed at nighttime]
("That night, Emil came home to his shed, where Penny the Class 59 was waiting for him")

"Hey Hun." Said Penny. "you've done well."

"Thanks, Penny." Yawned Emil.

"You must be tired after that haulage." she said.

"Oh no. I've hauled 15 Orient Express coaches. They were not really that heavy. I've hauled a lot heavier in my youth in the 70s." Emil chuckled.

"Grandpuff" Smirked Penny.

("Emil laughed, and they both soon went to sleep")
