This is very obviously manipulated in a lot of places (around the wrists, the paladin's head), but the manipulation around the head of the seraph is superb, as is the patterning of the ephemeral angel on the background, excepting the sword.
I must admit my mind imagined a few less-than-holy scenes to follow this one involving the two, though.
