Absolutely beautiful! Gotta admit, I also wonder how much it really fits with the cute monsters theme, although I get the mythical connections. But it's getting a vote anyway because it's a really nice concept and works really well as a design. If it doesn't win the contest, I'm sure it would work well as a design for other things.
