Sure, she looks helpless and scared now, but once she's done posing for the camera she's a different person. Heather's quite a nuisance once she's tied up, and if she can move at all she'll find a way to wriggle into everyone's business and get in the way. She's a total attention hog that way. You'd be surprised at how much movement she's capable of on land while tightly restrained, and she's quite proud of it. Eventually someone will release her just to get her to stop pushing her way into everyone's room to show off, or they'll lock her in a closet for a while to get her out of the way if she's especially irritating, but that's just the way things go when Heather insists on posing for a bondage shoot. She does manage to put on a more convincing expression of helplessness for the camera, but she loves every second of it and makes sure everyone knows that.

I originally picked Heather's name randomly when I named her, but I just discovered that Calluna Vulgaris, more commonly known as the Common Heather, has flowers that are often strikingly similar in color to this mermaid's hair, almost to the point where it might make sense to name her after the plant. It's an interesting coincidence, at least to me.
