*jaw drops* This is amazing! Super slick and detailed! The lighting, materials, and detailing look so elegant on this weapon. Major props!
I do 3D modeling a well, and I must ask: how do you get all those details from the concept art? Do you have a background in mechanical Engineering/Gunsmithing? Did you take classes on 3D modeling? I really want to improve my capabilities as a 3D modeler, and after browsing your gallery, you seem to be the perfect individual to ask!

Just curious why a pistol needs a knife launcher and a pair of 25mm grenade launchers, that's all.

At some point in history, I'm certain that at least one person said "Gee, I really wish this pistol could shoot two grenades and a knife." This gun is made for just such a person.

it's for the guys wearing some kind of a power armors and you'll certanly need smth more than just bullets when there is a bunch of armored dudes hanging around

True, but there as some alternatives to using 25mm HE explosives. For example, make the pistol a rail or coil-gun. Very good penetration, and the ammo shouldn't be much of a problem. That, or you can just sneak up behind them and slit their throats.

well the technology is still not quite there i can't build a rail pistol cause it will be too large and heavy may be in next 10 years i don't know.. a rifle sure but pistol...no way

Don't sell yourself short on designing a thing like a rail pistol. I've drawn one, although, granted, it is a revolver. And think outside the box. Make the rails not so much like rails, but as a sort of sheath over the barrel. It's something I'm trying to do.

it's impossible man how on earth you place enough magnets in such small device(i mean pistol)to generate strong magnetic fields the barrel should be at least 80cm long what kind of pistol is that?

Only put enough magnets to make it an effective anti-infantry weapon. That, and I think the battery plays a role too. And as an added bonus, nothing is impossible. People once said flight was impossible for humans, and look where we are now.

While it's great qaulity work, is there a reason behind most of that "Clutter" in the compenants on the mesh?

I find the texture on both 3D models of the pistol to be very well done and realistic looking and the shading on them are well done as well. This is a great render, keep up the good work, mate. =3[link]
