... walking around on a cold winter day,guess what you hear - right - NOTHING...
not a word, no cars, nothing at all - its just
you - the trees, the fog
and the coldness out there...

i really loved to walk around on this cold day in
2001 - i took it on a cold day when it had like
-20°C or -4°F !!! yep - i thought my fingers
gonna die and fall down because of the coldness
but i just walked around more - amazed from the
beauty of the fog - you didn´t see more than like
100 meters and everything was frozen...
btw - i didn´t change the colors on this shot - they
are like this already on the film - moreover
i also left the little "spots" in the pic - it were frozen
water drops on the lens

it has so mysterious feeling .. though winter is not my favorite season, the beauty of it sometimes amaze me deeply .. I just love this photo .. the fog makes it look like something from a dream ..

I love this alot, I miss the cold and the fog so much, what I would give to see fog! i'm in az now..but i grew up around fog and just the cold alone is great. awesome shot here.

A moment frozen in time... I couldn't imagine living somewhere that never had any snow. Going south is for the birds, I'd rather stay where it's cold, white and beautiful.

Reminding me of the fact that it will be winter soon... at least if you live as far north as I do... .
But it also reminds me of how beautiful snow and ice is. I really love the cold blue colours in this photo. It gives me a feeling of both emptiness and peacefulness. And the composition is great too.
...just wish it wouldn't be so cold...

Sehr schön! Ich kann ja Herbst und Winter kaum noch erwarten, weil ich zu diesen Jahreszeiten noch niemals fotografiert habe... meine erste Kamera hab ich erst im Frühling diesen Jahres gekauft.
