Description
My submission to the MM tribute book. I decided to upload it cause I mean... eh. I personally feel like it won't make it in, and even though I dedicated time to it (although condensed due to the collab MM tribute piece I was working on). But I'm just feeling doubtful right now.EITHER WAY, I enjoyed working on this. It was a concept I had in my head since the contest was announced... I wanted to go for something calming and relaxing... where the characters are looking off and dreaming of that perfect future.
I was originally going to just go with X, Zero, Iris I feel like all three of these would've been the perfect combination for a calm piece like this. But I put in Alia because I really like her character, and it makes it kinda balanced in a sense.
All done in watercolor with some touch ups in photoshop.
Edit: The winners are in, and this didn't make in (as I expected hah) but I had a great time working on this

Did you submit it anyway? You know they arent specifically looking for Artistic skill, they are looking for time and effort, as well as creativity and something unique. Yours' already stands out since it is a traditional drawing. SO don't be discouraged, they could still pick yours just for the sake of variety. You did well BTW there are some proportional issues. but on the other hand you did a who background, most (including myself) only did characters and just bs'd the background with texture and filter.
