THIS IS AMAZING! It sends shivers up the viewer's spine. It makes you wish the view on the camera was panned out! Just to see that else is going on here. The lips make the whole picture stand out from the rest. Her eyes make the whole picture even scarier. You can tell she's really frightened, because you can see the sweat hanging on her face. Deep down in the depths of that water, is something scary. And she doesn't want to see it. This piece is beautiful. And you deserve Daily Deviant! Really, and all around amazing job! I hope to see more things of yours soon!

This piece is very... Haunting. Beautiful, the empathy I got from your face was extraordinary. Your eyes show fright but your lips show sadness. Almost like someone getting killed... I cannot stare at this picture too long because it haunts me so much, the look of desperation and longing on your lips kills me. I absolutely love your work and all of it keeps me longing for more. I like feeling like the person in the photograph. You are lucky to be able to have that much quality in your photography, your makeup is perfect for the photo also, very, very beautiful <3

Expression: In a self-portrait it is evident that your expression is a huge part of the piece and in turn obviously influences its effect greatly. I have to say, your expression here is a curious blend of shock and resignation (admittedly this image prompts many stories in my brain, all of them centering around Gothic romance and drowning) -- it almost seems glazed, questioning. This is achieved by your wide-eyed look. The slight parting of your lips, with its small glimmer of teeth, adds to the effect. Your eyes are nicely framed by the lashes but they have not been overly caked in mascara (maybe you didn't even use any at all, I can't definitively tell) and thus do not overpower your face with their shadows.
Colour Palette: The coolness of the blues is breath-taking -- they couldn't fit better with your subject -- and even the red, while a good and needed block of contrasting colour, doesn't compete because it too appears muted. My favourite part of this picture is without a doubt your eyes -- they possess such an ephemeral shade of silvery-blue, and the whites are amazing in their subtleties of capillaries and porcelain shading.
Really the only thing I'd suggest could be altered in this photo is perhaps your hair could have been more in evidence; oh, and maybe the brows could be either fully in-shot of out-of-shot, because they feel sort of intrusive in their almost-presence. Overall, this image is a brilliant study of a face, and would most likely prove to be a useful reference for a whole host of artists working with other mediums.

Can I just say I look up to you? I want to study photography and be a professional one day, and your photos just AMAZE me. The concepts, the stories your photos show are just....astounding. Original, curious, mysterious, and it leaves me aching to know the rest of the story behind it.
You are also absolutely gorgeous, your eyes, lips, just your face. Uniquely beautiful.
