Scary...
pain, fear lust, food and lover!
A hundred words can not describe this photographer's vision in a short essay of thought!
But here goes...
Most prolific and hot sexual lust of the vampire and her lover slash lunch! Light blue becomes this piece and makes the figures portraits stand out for what they represent.
Sex and fear seem too be the motif of the work as we see the two ladies in a bitter struggle against each one self.
Vampire whom needs blood but also the love of her victim slash lover.
And the victim whom fears but excites at the lady vampire's lust and gaze.

So, here goes my critique.
I love the contrast in colors. One of my favorite things that artists donβt utilize often is the color scream contrasting. The use of blues and reds are alluring and can pinpoint certain places that give emotion to the photo.
I love how the eyes seem to glow. Itβs like water in the iris. A very cool technique.
While I do love this picture, the theme seems overdone. Many people use the "demon over my shoulder" aspect, but I think the way you did it, and the fact that both faces are your own and look so different, I have to say the concept is well captured.
The only complaint I have for this is that while I get the emotional aspect and can defiantly see the wonderful use of shadows, color, and theme, I feel like somethingβs missing. I can't put my finger on it, but I feel, in my personal opinion, that the demon on my shoulder should look a little more... alien. What Iβm trying to say is, I think there should be more of a difference between the two, making the demon look harsher, a little non-human like.
Overall, amazing work and fantastic use of your talents. I hope to see more work in the future from you. Maybe with a darker twist in it?

I'm not sure how well qualified I am to give a critique, but I will anyway!
I'll go ahead and start with technique since I'm in awe of yours. I'm absolutely amazed at how seamless the editing is. At first, I couldn't believe they were both you, as they both give off completely different personalities. As always, your editing skills have crushed it if I may be informal. The crisp contrast and clarity is balanced perfectly.. and I'm not sure this is intended or not, but it looks as if you airbrushed the girl on the left and left the right intentionally a little more rough. Either way, it's perfect. I love the girl in front's facial texture, and how gritty it almost is in contrast to the girl standing behind. It gives a dynamic quality to the photograph and draws someone in instantly.
As with all of your photographs, the impact of this piece is massive. I gave it 4 and a half stars only because I've seen others you've done that have just a little more impact than this one. The darkness to this photograph, I think, is why the impact is so massive. The lighting sets the mood perfectly.
Originality is obviously spoken for, but vision is a little lacking for me only because I feel the placement of the girl in the back is a little awkward (in a way that could not be fixed with more editing, but simply a different photo). I love where the hand is placed, but I feel like there could have been a better position to place her in that would've still kept it dynamic yet consistent. I personally (being someone who loves creepy photography), feel like you could've seemed slightly more possessive of the girl in front, because her face is shocked to a point that makes the girl in back look slightly drab (and I mean slightly).
I feel slightly guilty even giving such a critique, as this is far better than anything I've EVER done! But, nonetheless, it is a critique so I felt I should say something. Well done as always! xx - Liv

This picture really hit me hard when I saw it in my list. I just had to see it and once I did, something drew me into it.
This paints a story, almost as if it were it's own fairy tale. The fact that it's a self portrait as well, and both are you is what really impacted me. It's as if the corrupt is saying to the innocent, "you promised me.." But what was the promise? Was it for her purity perhaps? Was it broken?
The use of the red in the nails, lips and hair gives it this sinful nature compared to the soft, natural you. Even the pose as well. Very wonderful contrast.
I guess what really made me fall in love with this photo was the meaning I got from it, and the questions. We all have good and evil in us. Sins and innocents. Which one will you feed and let flourish? And if so, will this fully consume the other half, or turn it into a monster of it's own..
Incredible work, truly. Keep it up.

Very interesting. Well, isn't it always shocking when the character you only aspire to be in your wildest dreams just steps through the mirror and grabs your shoulder with long sharp nails?

Staggeringly good.
It is as if the character (obviously, you in both cases) wearing the lipstick has just taken the soul out of the character that looks almost lifeless.Β The more souls that the former consumes, the redder her lips and hair get, and the brighter her eyes shine.
To me, it is very much in keeping with the writings of Dante Alighieri.
