It's Swadloon from Pokemon Black & White!

Swadloon wraps itself up in leaves to protect itself from the cold. They are always on the move, eating fallen leaves in forests. They supply nutrients to the plants around them, helping supply their habitat with superb foliage.

To me, Swadloon looks like the drug dealer of the Pokemon world. I think it's just that mixture of unsureness & a rough life in their expression as well as he fact it's leaves reminds me of a trenchcoat that could be opened to reveal their "legitimate merchandising". All I'm saying is don't be surprised if you find one down a dark alleyway asking if you have a cousin names Sven.

This is probably the last piece I'll do with a solid colour background due to the nasty compression artifacts Art Academy can leave due to it using a .jpg format. I have nearly spent as much time trying to paint away these invisible blocks of nasty than I did painting the actual subject & even now am not happy about them. I think I'll stick to busier, more colour blending backgrounds in the future as the natural noise from them tends to hide these artifacts quite well.

As always, this was painted using Art Academy on DSiWare, which was published by Nintendo. Nintendo/Game Freak/The Pokemon Company own the rights to Swadloon.
