Description A vector drawing of a Cadillac from an ad I found in a 1970's National Geographic. I collect car advertisements and this and others were for a stillborn website I was making to display them.

It's a 1976 Coupe DeVille- one of my favorite cars of all time. I had a yellow one in the early 90's. Nice artwork!

Any tips on how to create a picture like that, I've been trying to do one of my caddy and just cant quite seem to make it work.

Not really that I can think of - I just did it.

I always like to sample the colours - it's easier to sample in photoshop than in Illustrator I find. You can use either program, but Illustrator is built for vector drawing. Also - I prefer to do the highlights and shadows first, and then work down to a base colour.
