I love timeskips, man.
I loved it in MLP:FiM, I loved it in Amphibia, I loved it here.

There's very little to say here. I love everything about these last three minutes of the episode. I love seeing Luz finish what she started in the human realm so she can move on to what she's always wanted in the Demon Realm. I love seeing Willow finally be who she's always wanted to be. I love seeing Hunter, finally having a place to belong, being surrounded by people who genuinely care about him and making peace with Flapjack's fate. I love seeing Guz take his lifelong passion and turn it into his profession. I love seeing Amity combine both the things she's always worked hard for and the things she's always liked but surpressed until she met Luz. I love seeing Eda flourish in an environment that she used to hate, only to find that she's actually pretty good at it. I love seeing what happened to all the side and background characters. It's just great.

And I'm always a sucker for the heartfelt goodbye at the end. It feels like both the characters and the crew are talking to us here. I haven't been choked up like that since the Phineas and Ferb finale where Phineas waves to us at the end. It was a very similar feeling.

I will miss this show tremendously. It ticked so many boxes on my list of things I love to see in a cartoon.
I wish Dana and her crew the best and hope we'll see more great stuff from them.
