Artist Trading CardThis is my drawing for the group. This is my August trade with Woodswallow of her OC Kashmir. (sigh) as usual my scanner fudged up a few things, but anyway, i love this piece.
I studied pharaoh hound anatomy for this, but this is the image i really referenced most for this drawing----> www.pinterest.com/pin/39005401…
I used pen to color the hound, and markers for the background, with a few touches for color pencil, and pen. It took me about 3-3 1/2 hours to color it.

His body looks so full of strength and elegance and you did a great job shading it! I love how you shaped his neck and ears, so proud looking...that's what I admire about pharao hounds. The colour contrast are very nice and the surroundings fit him and his story perfectly!

I hope it is ok for you if we wait two more weeks with sending the cards...I got a job which starts mid september and I have to move because of that. I'll tell you when I'm done with that and when it's safe to send the cards

I really loved drawing this guy, it reminded me i wanted to draw Anubis. I'll be posting a cool card of him sometime soon. Since i got my new job, iv'e been slowed down a bit with my art.(working my booty off, but it's fun!)
