You woke up at about quarter past nine, refreshed and ready for the busy day ahead. Nate was coming over to jam with you at 1pm. You were a singer and bass player and Nate sang and played guitar. The two of you loved playing music together and both of you would always be bursting with ideas. After that Nate said he wanted to take you to see the new music shop that had opened near by. It was going to be a busy day. A wonderful busy day. You got out of bed and had a quick shower before going to get breakfast. You opened the cupboard and grabbed out a box of f/ce, filled a bowl with id and added milk. You sat down at the dining table which was covered with song ideas. Lyrics and note sheets were everywhere. You picked up one of the lyric sheets and read the first line.
You can break down my lights and my doors, but I won't let you back in no more.You smiled at the lyrics for 'No More'. Nate had asked you to help him come up with a new Five Nights at Freddy's song and you had come up with the chorus. All you needed was the bridge and it was done. But it had proven to be more challenging than you'd expected it be. You started to casually sing the words that you had so far. "Five nights it shouldn't seem so long, but it takes forever when you go all about it wrong." You sang the words up until where the bridge would be and then you stopped and thought. "I, crave the light of day. But I've been... watching you all day? No," you continued to babble possible lyrics to yourself as you finished your cereal and put the bowl in the sink. As you were walking back to you bedroom to get dressed you had an idea. "I, crave the light of day, 'cause I've been keeping you away. Yes!" You ran back to the table and grabbed the lyric sheet. You quickly placed it on your desk, changed into you favourite top, jeans and a pair of converse sneakers, and then you sat down at the desk. You pulled out a pen and wrote down the lyrics you'd just come up with. Yo then sat down and started singing more possibilities. "You know that it's unfair... ugh no. It's driving me insane. And then have that twice? Yeah," you continued to talk and sing to yourself until you had the rest of the song finished. You then grabbed your f/c bass guitar and started playing around with different riffs to use on the bridge. Before you knew it the doorbell rang/ You put down the bass and quickly walked to the front door. You opened the door and saw the handsome young man known as Nathan Sharp, or Nate, standing there. He smiled revealing his adorable dimples and said "Hey." You smiled back and said "Hey. Come in." Nate walked inside but not before giving you a hug. His hugs were so amazing. He was taller than you and his hugs made you feel safe and protected. You had a huge crush on Nate, and have had one since you met him at VidCon, not that you'd ever admit that to him though. As Nate walked into the living room you went and grabbed the lyric sheet for 'No More'. You showed him the lyrics you'd come up with. He seemed to really like them as he was smiling. "So what's the tune for it?" He asked. You sang the lyrics to Nate and he started smiling even more. "Y/n that sounds awesome," he said. You blushed a little and said cheekily "I know." You then flipped your h/l h/c hair with all the sass of Tyler Oakley and Shane Dawson combined. Nate laughed at this, and you laughed to. His laugh was so cute. Nate pulled out his favourite aqua coloured guitar and hooked it up to the amp. You did the same for you bass guitar. 'So what were thinking for the bridge?" He asked when you were done setting up. "Well I was thinking we could start on an F chord and then move to C at the second part. And then use Am (That's an A minor chord in case your wondering) and E for the, it's driving me insane, parts," you played the chords as you explained this. Nate was nodding his head as you showed him and then he played it on his guitar. It was sounding really good. You both went through the bridge a few times and then played the whole song twice. It sounded like it as perfect and Nate appeared to agree as he gave you a high five and said "That is amazing y/n." You smiled and said thank you. Nate put his guitar own and said "I'd say this deserves a treat. How's about we get down to that music store and then get ice cream. I'll pay." You smiled and said "Sounds good. I just need to do my hair quickly." As you walked off to the bathroom you thought you heard Nate quietly say "Your hair looks beautiful," but you weren't sure so you didn't say anything. As you were waiting for your hair straightener to heat up you started to sing 'No More'. As you were about to pick up the hair straightener you were startled by Nate's voice. "You really do have the voice of an angel, you know that?" You rolled your eyes and said "Whatever." Nate walked in and unplugged the straightener. "Hey. What are you-?" Before you could finish Nate said "your hair looks fine like this." You felt yourself blush a little and quickly looked away to hide it. "Well. We'd better get a move on then," you said looking back at him and smiling. The two of you walked out of your house and got into Nate's car.

As you pulled into the car park of the new music store you were struck by how beautiful it was. The whole front of the shop was lit up with neon lights, one of the basses in the window caught your eye. As the two of you walked in you made a b-line to the bass you saw in the window. You pulled it down and it fit almost perfectly in your hands. The store owner came over and asked if you wanted to hook it up. You said yes and quickly hooked it up to an amp. The bass was a pretty f/c Fender Precision bass. There were a a lot of people in the shop so you decided to show off a little bit. You started playing the bass riff to Aeroplanes by Red Hot Chille Peppers, which was one of the hardest bass riffs to play. You ended up attracting a small crowd as you played the bass riff perfectly. After you finished Nate came up to you and simply said "Show off," you retorted with "Like you wouldn't have done the same." He made a face that said 'fair point' and you walked off to look at some more bass guitars. On you search however you found a grand piano and decided to give it a go. You hadn't played piano since you were a little kid so you were surprised when you still remembered how to play Fur Elise. Nate looked at you with amazement. "Is there anything you can't play?" he asked rhetorically. You shrugged you shoulders and said "I probably can't play the harp," indicating to the big harp in the far corner of the shop. Nate laughed and said "I wouldn't be surprised if you could." It was starting to get late so you decided to leave and get ice cream. You hadn't noticed but the whole time in the music shop, Nate had been looking at you with amazement and love. You were in for a surprise when you got to the ice cream shop. You ordered a double scoop of f/i and Nate got a double scoop of chocolate. You mocked him for choosing a boring flavour making the two of you laugh. You both left the store and sat on the grass at a nearby park. It was about 6pm now and the stars were starting to come out. You pointed up to one group of starts and said "That's the zodiac constellation for y/z which is mine." Nate nodded his head. It seemed like he wasn't really paying attention. "Something on your mind?" you asked him. "Actually yeah," he answered looking at you with his big beautiful brown eyes. You held eye contact with your own e/c eyes as he said "Y/n, over the past year or so that I've known you, I feel as if we've gotten really close. And well, I like you. So will you be my girlfriend?" You couldn't keep the smile off your face as you said "Yes!" You gave Nate the biggest hug you'd ever given him and continued to smile uncontrollably. Nate looked at you with nothing but love and admiration. "I'm so glad you said yes," he said and he surprised you with what he did next. Cupping your face with one hand he lifted your head up to face his and he kissed you. It was soft and sweet, and as he pulled away, you saw that he too as smiling, putting his adorable dimples on display. You pinched his cheeks and said "Your dimples are so cute." The two of you laughed and Nate drove you home. Before you went inside he planted a kiss on your forehead and said "I love you y/n." You smiled and said "I love you more." You went inside and spent the night writing song lyrics. And I bet you can guess what they were about.
