Ok this is a visual style that I was meant to release alongside my Windows Live Messenger skin also called Ev0.Sadly I wasn't able to fully realise it as i got a new pc with vista on it and left it. All the skin needed was a shellstyle.dll and a white version made.
This version is usable, though it has no shellstyle so I'd recommend downloading a no shellstyle shellstyle since those fit this theme better.
Anyway yeah it matches the windows live skin found here:

I might pick up the pieces of this visual style once Vista skinning gets happening so yeah who knows what will happen

ok in your notes you state that we need to download a shellstyle.dll file. This is what I did. I put the msstyle file into c:/windows/resoureces/themes/Ev0, then I downloaded the shellstyle.dll file and added a new folder into the Ev0 folder naming it shell like the other windows theme files. Your skin shows up fine in the display properties but when I go to apply it nothing happens. It just goes to windows classic style. Any ideas?

copy the msstyle file to c:/windows/resoureces/themes/Ev0 and then open the msstyle file.
You must have stylexp or a uxtheme.dll patch applied before using.

what you need to do is edit the firefox userchrome file to make the text white, unfortunately firefox didn't play nice with the skin.
Just google on how to edit the userchrome file and you should manage.

this VS is based on the Ev0 messenger skin 1.0, the first Ev0 design.
The reason Ev0 3.0 is the way it is because it allows colorization to work and it removed memory leaks which occured in v1.0-2.0.

you go in C:/Windows/Resources/Themes and remove it. Or if you have style xp you can remove it that way.

that is object dock and the thing underneath it is windows live messenger running the Ev0 skin.

I love how the start button is a star. But I agree with ~vekanoid 's comments - it's a bit too dark. Try a gray version, maybe?

And one more thing... On taskbar buttons (where your msn live messenger is) that white square looks bad. Need to rework that to be black or dark gray
