After he came up with the name of the show and the concept for a few of the characters, that was pretty much the end of his input on the series. Leonard, who wrote the show's bible and had a lot of input on the design of the show never spoke to Ted Wolf during his tenure on the show.

It's not that they didn't get along, it's just that Ted Wolf was never involved with the series after selling the idea to Rankin/Bass. For many years Leonard thought that Ted Wolf was a fictional person. A fake name that studios put on scripts to hide the true identity of the person who thought of the original idea.

Wow really, so interesting. I love getting the back ground info. I have show ideas of my own but would definitely want to have input after selling an idea although I don't know how the whole thing works. I hope I could still be involved.
