Yesterday, a friend informed my that the popular Youtube media channel "WorldClassBullshitters" had used my Pega Soylo art in their vid!Skip to 5:55...

I watch this channel a lot, as they give no-nonsense reviews and opinions about the state of movies, primarily Star Wars.
If I had a YT account, I would log on and say thanks, but hopefully a subscriber will see my post here and convey my thanks for the shout.

Just curious, you wouldn't happen to now about the Star Wars Prequel reviews at Redlettermedia? One of the head guys, Mike Stoklasa, does the reviews as the character Harry S. Plinkett for each Star Wars Prequel as well as each new Star Wars that has bee released. Personally, I highly recommend them as they come from a film-lover's perspective (which should come as no surprise as Stoklasa himself is a film school graduate and an independent film-maker). The character of Harry Plinkett might rub some the wrong way, but the reviews are hilarious blueprints as to why the Prequels are terrible and have for better or worse tainted the legacy of the original Star Wars Trilogy.
*Unrelated Note* It's pretty much a dead issue by now, but have you heard about the drama that has unfolded at Channel Awesome? Apparently, the greed and bridge-burning of Mike Michaud has left Channel Awesome a ghost town. Only Doug Walker remains with Brad Jones hanging around for God knows why. I guess everyone learned the hard way about the business side of entertainment; that when the dust clears, only one out of a hundred is marketable to rant about the cartoons that vexed you the most as a child.

As for Channel Awesome - Considering the psychosis of the people involved, I am surprised it lasted more than a year!

It's a shame, you'd know better than I, but many conventions seem to be catering to petulant man-children and obnoxious fan-spastics. I would love to proved wrong. I mean, there must still be spaces for true collectors and aficionados, right?

Happily, there are many normal people who love comics and movies, in fact these are the majority.
The crazies gravitate to hobbies, and are a thing we just have to deal with...
Channel Awesome seemed to be a strange accumulation of egos and borderline minds.
If seen it happen in comics and various social groups, you no doubt have witnessed these groupings too.
A shame also that many people enjoyed the actual (sometimes good) entertainment Doug provided...

Oh yes, not everyone is Comic Book Guy from "The Simpsons". 
The Channel Awesome debacle was most definitely "a strange accumulation of egos and borderline minds", but it was money that was the catalyst. Mike Michaud who owns the Nostalgia Critic's intellectual property had an avarice bordering into comic book villain territory. He once brought a female content producer to tears after he chided her for putting so many add rolls on her videos; he explained it would inspire viewers in install ad block and take profit away from the site's heavy hitters. Classy. But even more tragic was how everyone on the site learned a hard lesson in the power of "marquis value". Doug and Rob would fly in Channel Awesome's roster of producers for their projects "Kickassia" and "To Boldly Flee" only to give them two lines apiece while the focus was entirely on Doug. Why? Because Doug was the one bringing in the big dollars. Can you imagine - for the sake of argument - flying all the way from Glasgow to Chicago only to have maybe three lines in "Kickassia" and then have to watch Doug mug about for the rest of the duration? The irony is so delicious that each one of these producers made their bread and butter lambasting big entertainment studios for doing the same thing.
One of the best things about James Rofle is that he steered clear of all that crap. In fact, I was very pleased the day he parted ways with the mediocre hacks at ScrewAttack.
