Galaxy Lemur is the fun loving guy of the group, but unlike Cybershock Sheep, he has a better disposition. His first love is studying celestial bodies, while his second is simply exploring. He especially likes festivities, and he has always wanted to go to a science fair. He dislikes violence, and prefers solving issues with gentler means, or avoiding them altogether. Why he shows unquestionable loyalty to the brutal W Mavericks is unknown, although the desire of a reploid utopia is a theory on the issue. As a foe, he is a challenging combatant, but with quick reflexes and the ability to work with field alterations, he is easily predicted. His signature move is “Black Hole Bomb,” which creates a large cosmic explosion that draws enemies into it. Another technique he uses is “Gravity Bind,” which is a move that causes the player to be pulled left, right, down, or up. The latter two result in difficult to control, higher or lower jumps. This attack lasts for an extended period of time before finally wearing off. His saucer transformation ability changes his shape, in which he will often dash toward the player and shoot lasers. His final attack is “Star Dust,” in which he spreads several star-shaped bombs on the top of the screen, which fall after all the bombs are placed, requiring the player to go in between them. This can prove difficult when combined with Gravity Bind. Galaxy Lemur’s weakness is “power,” as in raw strength related attacks, such as a rock throw. As a free-floating reploid, he is more sensitive to tremendous amounts of force, which would usually render him dazed for a short while, restoring gravity to normal in the process. He is responsible for the mysterious activity on a distant satellite in the high reaches of earth’s orbit.

As some of you might have recognized, this guy is the reploid version of Galaxy Man. Galaxy Man is an interesting robot master. He’s so cool with his spacey, rainbow, tech, robotness. His theme music seems so happy that it seemed natural to give him a similar personality. As the third on the list, I have five more of these guys before I have completed the set.

Is it just me or does he bare a striking resemblance to the Sonic character design? When I originally drew him, I kind of forgot that he was essentially monochrome, but I figured I could draw the details in every color, thanks to his color changing characteristic. Of all the reploids I drew so far, he seems to be the only nice one. I notice that I forgot to actually show his saucer form, so perhaps I’ll post a later image showing miscellaneous traits in another drawing.
