Thanks so much! I try to come up with different and unusual flames. I have lots of scripts and I go in and change some of the values and save them as alternate files, so I still have the original ones. Believe me, I am no 'mathlete'! Sometimes they work, and sometimes they don't. Sometimes I will use 2 or 3 scripts on the same parameter file. Not more than 3, because the flame gets too trashed looking I think.
Your flames are so different, beautiful and unusual!
When I first got apophysis 2.02, I used the transforms and the mutation window. Then as each updated version came along, I stopped using the mutation window and started using scripts and trying out the different combinations of variations. But I never went in to the transform editor and changed the values there. Never did that till the beta version. It is an amazing program! I love it!

I agree, the transform editor in an incredible tool and, in fact, the only thing I use in Apo. Most of my flames are created from scratch (blank flame button), by slightly moving the triangles and by trying different values in the variations tab, changing only one variation at a time by small increments to clearly see what it does, then trying combinations of variations (2 or more variations on the same transform, my record is 6 on one transform, all useful in the final pic).
With this method, it's incredible the number of different fractals you can generate, even with only 2 or 3 transforms. To me, all is in the variations and their relative weights: in a given fractal [linear 1, sinusoidal 1, spherical 1] may be horrible, but for example, [linear 0.9, sinusoidal 0.1, spherical 2.3] may be fantastic! All is in the weights...

Stunning! Love the glow, the color, the many details. You really have found your speciality with this flame. Wonderful.
