CypherVisor In reply to FaeriesWish [2012-12-06 13:25:00 +0000 UTC]

You mean to make the content-holder box semi-transparent? Well, I am not sure. I can surely try it out and see if that can be done!

is there a way to make a scroll box with in a custom box?
so say you had lots of stamps but you didn't want them to take up all of the custom box, so you could feature other things in the box, but putting them in a separate scroll box, would that be possible at all? o3o I know you can make scoll box's in journal's.

Hey, I know this is super super late, but if you're still wanting a scroll box, there's codes for that now. I could give you the one I'm using, if you want to just paste your content in it. It's a white regular-sized scroll box o:

CypherVisor In reply to SquishKink [2012-11-15 16:28:02 +0000 UTC]

Well, you can't have a scroll box in the custom box. Though, someone mentioned that he or she has seen it somewhere. I don't know I have to see if that's possible at present.

oh another question! in the custom boxes, if you have a content holder
is there away to make the font a different colour to stand out?
but thanks again man! <3 I've managed to learn how to Code with you're stuff!

Sure I'll share it with everyone.

And font color can't be changed due to deviatART limitations.

I am not sure it works in a journal. It is usable in custom widgets only.

Hey! I'm a total noob to CSS... can this content holder box be used on top of a background in a custom box to help make text more visible on a dark background? How would the code look to affect the color of text if so? Thanks in advance.

Is there a way to make the the outline transparent as well, or a different color? The main reason I ask for this is that I want to be able to have a custom BG in my box, but I'd like to have the outline of this box at least match the colors of my BG if not vanish all together.

Hey I got some problems over at my page, when I add a background, the background of the box blends in with the background I added in.

Could you maybe help?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

CypherVisor In reply to rinzer [2012-04-28 05:31:49 +0000 UTC]

That's because its a transparent box! Use another content-holder box from my custom box resources folder.

hey there friend... I made a transparent content-holder box for my custom widget and I figured out how to change the size and font of the body text but, ....i need to desperately change the text color to #cecd99. I just can't figure it out. If you have any ideas how to do that and I would be eternally grateful if you could take a moment to splain. forgive my ignorance.

Okay let's say you've decorated your custom box with your designed wallpaper. Now how would you be able to put stamps and buttons on top of your decorated custom box? I've tried everything I could think of and I can't get stamps or just regular thumbnails on top of my decorated custom box without it making it's own section which shows the default green portions of my profile.
