Description

The Kingdom of Lotharingia sometimes called Lotharia or Lorraine had managed to fend of its enemies surrounding it and successfully consolidated its territory by the 16th century. During the age of exploration and colonisation many new settlements would be founded in the new world by the diverse populace of the kingdom all united under the Catholic faith which became more vital with the Huguenots taking power in France and the increasing number of Protestant states in the Holy Roman Empire. These settlements would unify under the newly created colony of New Brabant after the region within Lotharingia. However they were not alone in the new world with the formation of the English colony of New Anglia and the French New Burgundy. New Brabant faces a risky situation just likes its motherland in Europe, surrounded by vicious enemies.
