Fanart of Lineage II.i myself have never played the game, but i'm a huge fan of the art and character styles.
after viewing all the pretty CG movies for the game i was really taken by the battle sequence between the light and dark elf. the part where the dark elf comes crashing through the window was very dynamic and i really wanted to draw something like it so here she is. please excuse the sword angles, as they are slightly off, but it was way too late for me to change it by the time i realized it

i really like the details on her equipments, and i think the daggers (i can tell the left one is soulfire dirk) are quite beautifully placed.

I've played Lineage II for about 3 years and Dark Elven are one my of favourite races.
I really like how you drew the hands/fingers and especially the hair (I like the eyes too, quite different from the CG movie!

I played lineage 2 for many months until I got tired of the farmers and bots. The dark elf female was probably the sexiest I have ever seen. The dark elf art in that game is truly incredible...too bad the game is so anti-westerner, bot-farmer ridden or it would have been a bigger hit. These days westerners avoid that game like the plague, with the exception of looking at its art. Istead they play either EQ or WoW now even though Lineage still has better character art..

I think I know the CG trailers for the game that you're talking about- that fight sequence is AWSOME! If I had more time, I'd definately give the game a try!
This is an awsome pic- I knew as soon as I saw the thumbnail that it was the dark elf from lineage! So exciting! Great attention to detail and her expression is right on! The background really gives me the impression of movement- like she's moving in the CG trailer!

I've always loved the look of the dark elves in that game, even though I've not played it, (yay! Antiquated computers) I've got a whole bunch of screenshots and character art from it saved, and this is a succulent rendition.
I especially like the face, the nose and eyebrows form a wonderful display of persepctive, and the eyes are colourful and interesting. The frosty blue lips give the impression of blue blood underneath, which is how I generally imagine them, too. The little smirk adds nice character to the face, too.
The top knife's a nice design, and I like the ring on her left forefinger. I *think*, from the foreshortening that the left (top) hand is meant to be closer to the viewer than the other one, but I'm not quite sure. It's a very dynamic and cool pose overall, too.
Definately a favourite.
