Personality: Kachina has a twisted cheery disposition, and enjoys the company of others from the Forbidden Hollow, but becomes heartless and cruel when Capital City folk come into the area. Though she is a bit mischief and rushes into things without thinking, she has a kind heart under everything. When Kachina is overly happy or scared, her whole body heats up and can sometimes start small fires around her. She is very small, and because of this she tries to act a lot tougher then she actually is. Kachina has grown a lot more mature since living in the Hollow, and as such, she can act like a mother towards others, especially those who come to stay at the Caravan Inn. In this way, she will irrational act if she senses one of her friends in danger, which has cost her a few times.

History: Kachina grew up with her older brother (Shen), as their parents abandoned them when they were young. The siblings developed a strong bond, though they were incredibly poor. Kachina became blind in one eye because of a plague that was ramped in the area, and for a few years afterwards, she would constantly be running into things, but Shen was patient with her, and after a time, she grew a little more accustomed to it, though sometimes she still has trouble with it. Shen at this time also bought Kachina an anklet with bells on it, and would tease her saying that this way he could always find her. She has never taken this off, even after Shen passed away.
A traveling caravan came to the town Kachina and her brother were staying at, and they both decided to start making a living as gypsies with this traveling band. Kachina’s talent with the flute allowed her to perform with the caravan and make some money to provide food for the both of them.
Shen ended up passing away from an unfortunate accident involving a fight he really had no part in with while the caravan was stationed near the Capital City. Kachina, now left by herself with the caravan, wanted nothing to do with the city people and settled down in the Forbidden Hollow, as most cities do not welcome gypsies. Kachina developed a bit of a warped sense of what it means to be kind, and will play cruel chasing games with others if she is incredibly bored or looking for a way to push her anger out. She still enjoys being an entertainer, and plays the flute whenever she gets the chance. Kachina hopes that by playing her flute and waiting for the opportunity to avenge her brother, that one day she will be at peace with herself.
Since moving to the Hollow, Kachina has had her share of fights with Hollowers and City folk alike. The scars on her shoulder was from the first attack on the City when all the Hollowers banded together to plan a raid and also from a fight with a monster named Aku, as she was defending her friend Chou. After that, Kachina met a few City folk who showed her that not all City dwellers are evil, though Kachina still has a hard time trusting them.
She has opened up her caravans to travelers who need a place to rest, as she loves meeting others and hearing about their adventures. Kachina actually runs the Caravan Inn with her good friend Ren (who is now Kara due to memory loss), though Kara does not remember much about Kachina. Though Kachina is sad to lose Ren, she welcomes Kara with open arms and is excited to get to know this girl more. Along with this, Kachina works with Kiri in the city as a furnace operator (because of her fire abilities), though she still does not enjoy city dwellers, she does enjoy using her abilities to good use.
At this time Kachina is still struggling to decide if she should continue to live in the Hollow, or move to the city where Kouhei is.
