[Personality:] Elysia is a curious and very naive being, who enjoys investigating strange events, even if it gets her into trouble (or just plain freaks her out). Due to her inability to sleep, Elyisa loves to curl up in the corners of stairwells to rest, or read a good book. Elysia usually is carrying around strange gadgets or spare parts to items, as she also enjoys disassembling electronics (so don't let her borrow your laptop!)
She often can become agitated if placed in cramped quarters (due to her bird-like nature), but is thrilled to be able to soar in the sky with fellow companions.

[History:] Elysia is originally from the Johto region, but there isn't much to her story as it is a simple one. She grew up with her parents and moved around a lot due to the encroachment of humans on the environment. Elysia has never been fond of humans, as having to move so much, which was an annoyance on her childhood. Once she felt settled in a spot and making new friends with the Pokemon in the area, her family would have to be uprooted and move again. Her parents used to tell her stories of fights between gijinkas and humans, and regardless if these were myths or true events, Elysia still avoids people, not one to trust these unknown beings.
On her 17th birthday, her father and mother thought it was best for her to live on the island with other gijinkas, and Elysia agreed. Partially because of the chance to meet others like herself, and partially because she was curious about the interesting stories told of the island. She moved into a small apartment in Maelstorm where she works as a clerk at a nearby music store. Her parents write to her when they can, and she still gets homesick, even if she hasn't really had a place to call home.
