(On the Mystery gang's trip to Miskatonic University, Fred and Daphne were up at the front seats, while Shaggy, Scooby and Velma were in the back. Velma turns to Shaggy and Scooby.)

Velma: Hey... Shaggy, Scooby?
Shaggy: Like, what is it, Velms?
Scooby-Doo: Rhat's rhe ratter, Relma?
Velma: Sorry about earlier that I tried to end your bond earlier before we faced the evil entity. (To Shaggy) I just thought I was ready to get intimate with someone, and I thought you were the one for me. But then I realized that both of us are still young, and still have a ways to go. Sorry about forcing you to change. I'll just let you be yourself, Shaggy. (To Scooby-Doo) Sorry that I called you a sidekick when you were sick. I didn't mean to be that offensive.
Shaggy: Oh, that's okay, Velma.
Scooby-Doo: Rit's all rool!
Velma: Thanks. Is there anything I can do to make it up to the both of you?
Shaggy: How about watching a movie with me and Scoob?
Scooby-Doo: Roes Rady and the Ramp round rood to rou?
Velma: Are you kidding? That's one of my all time favorite movies from my childhood! Of course I'll watch it with you!

(A very happy and excited Velma Dinkley grabs Shaggy and Scooby and hugs them tight in a group hug.)

Velma: Oh, jinkies! I love you guys!

(Shaggy and Scooby laughed. They knew everything would turn out just fine in the end. Daphne looked back at her friends and smiled.)

Daphne: (thinking) Sounds like they've finally made up for their relationship...
Fred: (smiling, thinking) About time they got along again.

(The Mystery Machine set off into the sunset.)
