I thought it was Bolin until I saw that Bolin wears a green belt on his uniform. Also. if you pay attention in the trailer, you can see Mako cartwheel past really quick!

Sorry, how do you know it's him? I'm trying to get a good look at his face without much success.

I looked very closely at the first frame before he started to move and noticed how his head gear let out his forward pointed hair. I then cross referenced that headgear with another official image of team avatar in full Pro-bending gear seen here.

The two head pieces were spot on.
Thanks to this I was able to make an educated guess that this was indeed Mako spinning through the air dodging his opponents attacks like a total bad@#$.
