a photograph could not compare to every point of light you choose to render by hand...when I stare at your work I have to remind myself to breathe once in a while.
It is not just inspiring,
it fills me with hope...even faith
to see that mankind is capable of doing this.

Unreal, I congradulate you on your work, and it's great to see a young man with the patiance(sic) to do such work! I keep thinking I need to find an outlet/passion that consumes way less time to do! So thank you for making me realize the time spent is not important!!!

I still cannot believe that this is not a photograph! The original is one of the most amazing drawings I've ever seen - the most impressive part is the environment, that you worked to get the background and the shadows so perfectly.

:] About 3 months, workig 3h a day, 4 days a week! It's studying, to understand form and how light creates volume. It's really worth spending that amount of time! After, you can do convincing & correct rendering much faster.
