Eldrad Ulthran was the chief Farseer of the Ulthwé Craftworld. He was perhaps the most gifted psyker
amongst the Eldar, his incredible foresight having saved many thousands of Eldar lives. He created and carried
into battle the Staff of Ulthamar, and his resilience and power has been a rallying point for the declining Eldar race.
He wears Armour of the Last Runes - potent artifact and ward against harm.

About art itself - I guess it's your vision of the character, but personally I would expect that Eldrad more "crystal-like", because Eldar seers to the age are gradually turning into crystals. Also, no one source has been said that the Eldar have vertical pupils, but I assume that you did it to make him more like "xenos".
Since I'm not an artist I can't judge about technique, but I saw a lot of your artwork and maybe you can add more detailed elaboration to your arts.
And at the end, a little question - does this art is a start for possible eldar portraits art-cycle?

Ah, just gorgeous! I imagined him slightly different but this is yet another image displaying Veronica's better understanding of character. He looks very cynical and ... tired? Well, i guess it's fair considering countless ages of building plots and colossal burden of being a major douchebag for achieving greater good of his own people. Although this picture does not fully reflect Eldrad's immense power as i see it, but it's just me being whimsical.
