Now we’re roping Starlight Glimmer and Sunset Shimmer into things >
Or, more specifically, their respective parents

so Stellar Flare is a bitchhhhh
she is a very organized and social mare. she manages several personal businesses and is relatively well-off for living on her own. Her previous husband left her for being batshit crazy. both of her children, Sunset Shimmer and Sunburst Flare, abandoned the nest pretty early on because of how controlling she was. Sunburst especially dislikes her because of her homophobic views. she nearly disowned him when she found out he was engaged.

…yeah, idk shit about her XD so I’m probably gonna end up abandoning most of her canon character and shoving her into my MLP au
all I know is that I’ve seen a lot of people making her out to be Sunburst’s sister, and I want to do the same (because poor Sunny has to have a snarky older sibling to tease him)
so yes, Sunset is Sunburst’s buff, ‘mean’ big sister. she reappeared in her family’s life after a long period of disappearance (because she was never the star child and was sick of being berated by their mother). she’s super supportive of her little brother, and loves her new brother-in-law and niece and nephew. she tries her best to protect them from her harsh mother.
Starlight Glimmer’s father, Firelight, is totally awesome by comparison. he married Stellar Flare later on (idk why XD) he always works his hardest to be the best dad he can be, and considers Sunset and Sunburst to be his own flesh and blood. he absolutely adores Sombra and his kiddos, and spends as much time with them as he can. he’s a good dad.
(most of this drawings ‘take place’ at Sunburst’s and Sombra’s wedding, so there’s that)
