I used my illustration from the past and I've made 2 versions of Belle.I really like how very subtle redesign gave Belle another life in the movie.

Both variations are beautifully drawn and I'm in awe at the detail you put in both the live action and animated Belle.
I do prefer the original animated Belle but that might just be the nostalgia speaking!

I still prefer the animated version. I don't know why Disney decided to make live action movies versions of the old classics. It's stealing the beauty and magic of those tales! It's annoying.
The only character that I liked in live action was Maleficient.

Whenever I want to watch 'Beauty and the Beast', I think I like watching the 1991/Cartoon version. (Besides, I didn't like how they made Mrs. Potts in the live action film.)

Very tough choice to make. The textured patterning and the pops of red in the live version, or the simplified elegance of the animated original. Just my opinion, the flats are among the most fashionable shoes of all the Princesses.

I haven't seen the live-action film yet, but I do like from the trailers how the clothing is more old french period styled.

I really like how you made Belle not look like Emma Watson as much, but still maintained a sort of realistic approach with her design. But I have to say that the original Belle looks so much better

Very lovely drawing in comparing the 2 outfits. I pretty much hated Belle's whole wardrobe from the live action movie and the fact that Emma Watson was picked to play her. However, I do love how you can tell it's her in the top picture, well done!
