Hmm... that's one tiny tree. I hadn't noticed it at first, though (only after picturing Belle standing up). But, it's hard to figure out how to draw someone under a tree, isn't it? I drew a pic like that awhile ago, and couldn't figure out how to correctly get the tree to look like a tree. Plus, if drawing the top of the tree and making the person to scale, the person would seem too small for the pic. (...your sunspot things under the tree are better than mine, too.)
It's a nice picture, by the way. ^_^ ...it's all nice. Um... there's the grass (and flowers), the tree, the distant trees, the clouds, Belle's pose...

It could be a very young tree. Our land is covered in them.

It just looks short to me. ^_^" All the trees around where I live, if they're young, they have very slender trucks and branches. But I know there's some trees that can be miniaturized, elsewhere, and they never get tall. Then there's the captivity type trees in people's yards that get taller than a house, but are still kind of short and stumpy, for a tree.
