Just something I wanted to say.You can't hate something you don't think exist. If you hate a god, then by definition you believe that this god exists and you are then a theist.

The thing is, how can one being militant about "nothing" be any less irrational then hating "nothing"? I would think an atheist by definition should also be an 'apatheist', as Bill Mahr coined, because there is nothing I am more apathetic about then nothing at all, and cannot imagine why anybody else would not feel the same.
