Frost Dragon from The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim(Model of the Month at Zealot Hobby Forums)
I know Viinturuth is a random kind of dragon, but it was a Frost Dragon for me and I have multiple save-files to prove it
The model has a wingspan of 500mm and approx height of 460mm. Overall 690 parts.
Difficulty: Very Hard

recommended paper? 80gsm would be hell i guess and my 110lb/300gsm paper is a bit thick for folding

I've built all 2 and a half dragons of mine from 180gsm paper, but you will need extra bracing inside the legs and wings so it wont sag after a while

I would love to make this, this is a beautiful model. Through I'm already having an issue. I went to download the PDF version but I only got the pdo files and the texture files. Is the PDF version still up? Many Thanks!

I'd go throat/tongue -> lover jaw -> upper jaw /nose -> horns - > neck

You should probably probably start with something simpler first. I'd advace getting something from Canon Creative Park (or whats it called), those models are fairly simple and generally look great when finished.

this model looks like a nightmare to build and like it would give the builder the most satisfying pride there is! I love it! good job!

Actually the true nightmare is when you realize that you didnt reinforce the joints in the legs and wings adequately and the whole things starts to tilt forward. (fixed with internal and external wire bracing afterward)

How did you make the model in pepakura designer, i'm trying to make another dragon.

Pepakura is for unfolding only. You will need another program like Blender, Maya or 3DS Max to edit models. This model is actually a reworked version of one of Skyrim's loading screens.

i have the model, but when i unfold it in pepakura, it makes really bad foldes, how did you edit the model to make it have better folds?

Only use auto unfold after you have manually selected most of the cut edges, you will have to do that manually Im afraid, after that there are several tool you can use to edit the unfolded template. make sure that the model doesn't have more than 4 sided polygons because most of the time it unfolds wrong and make that part unusable.

Edited the model in 3D editor (see above) mostly deleted extra edges and vertexes. You cant do it in Pepakura.
