Johnny and the Guardians pick up Sam's trail and figure out where he is hiding. Dugrasa and Narishii go ahead to investigate, but are ambushed by the murderer everyone is talking about. He violently attacks them, but when Harmona and Ehlax arrive to save them, the murderer summons more Equalists.
A violent battle erupts. When the murderer removes his helmet, Ehlax is shocked to realize that it's his old childhood bully, Grimax. Grimax reveals how he got his Neo Powers and took command of the Equalists, now seeking revenge on Team Nexus. Once a mere bully, he is now a bloodthirsty warlord, commanding a legion of traitors.
Grimax takes down Rokai, Ehlax, Solibac, Nash, and Kurin, then proceeds to torture Dugrasa, Narishii, and Rachel, but Pippin blinds him with the flash on her camera, and Johnny snatches his sword away with his whip. Grimax retreats but promises that revenge will come. Dr. Kilroy states that this is the first ever recorded battle between Alayssian humans since the start of the Mutation War…
