Movie 7-18
Chapter 3-5

   In their base, Jablonsky, Fubuki, and Rebecca are sorting Spencer’s files containing mysterious names. Fubuki and Rebecca suddenly notice that a few files are missing.

Fubuki: Oh no.
Ivan: What now?
Rebecca: Some of the Kaiju files are missing. Dr. Spencer must have confiscated and erased those files and transferred them to the GRF hardware.
Ivan: This will complicate our plans.
Fubuki: What do you want us to do?
Ivan: You’re both going to the GRF base, and maintaining a low profile. Fubuki, upload a virus into Mechagodzilla so that we can reprogram him and control him. Rebecca, search out the missing files. Once both have been done, contact me.
Rebecca: We won’t fail you, Mr. Jablonsky.

   The terrorists depart with their new villainous intentions. Jablonsky opens his suitcase and counts the money within it, smoking and frowning.

Ivan: Such a shame, Spencer.

   Meanwhile, Mikaela, Nicole, Alex, Kimberly, Tim, and Brenda prepare a search party for Dr. Spencer. They are loading up with weapons and communication devices in case the operation goes south.

Nicole: Remember to stay close and armed. The Sixth Extinction might be on his tail as well, and they’re not fond of leaving survivors.
Mikaela: Especially watch out for Fubuki and Rebecca. They’re Jablonsky’s top assassins.
Alex: All right, let’s move!

   The group makes its leave to begin the search. In the darkness, Fubuki waits for them to be gone. Snickering, he sneaks into the base to search for Mechagodzilla’s controls. In the process, he silently slaughters any guards he comes across, slitting their throats with his knife. He eventually sees Mechagodzilla in its hangar.

Fubuki: So that’s Mechagodzilla.

   He soon grabs a passing scientist and comes out wearing those clothes, blending in and searching for the control pad. He soon finds it, and he snickers, ready to start his work.

   On the boat heading for Spencer’s last sighting, Mikaela is looking through a list that has various Kaiju names. When Alex comes in, Mikaela puts it away in a rush.

Alex: How are you hanging?
Mikaela: I’m fine. I really hope my Dad is alive. It would suck if this ended up a wild goose chase.
Alex: I’m sure we’ll find your old man. By the way, I noticed you’re dating Nicole now.
Mikaela: Yeah, for a year now.
Alex: Good for you.
Mikaela: We get some judgment because we’re in a same-sex relationship, but we’re happy regardless.
Alex: Let me tell you something, kid. You are who you are, and only you can change that. Happiness is the most important thing anyone can have in life.
Mikaela: You’re a good friend, Alex.

   The boat is suddenly shaken by a tremendous force, throwing everyone around like dolls. They recover in pain and confusion.

Tim: What the hell was that?
Brenda: Something hit our ship.

   A loud shrill cuts the air, and a giant pincer breaks the water surface. They realize it’s Ebirah, and this is his hunting ground.

Kimberly: I thought you put a tracker on Ebirah!
Brenda: We did. He must have removed it somehow.
Alex: Call the Halo. Tell Kyne to melt the butter and break out the bibs. I want this lobster served up on a silver platter.

   After a lengthy chase, with the ship low on gas, Ebirah surfaces and tries to reach the ship, but GRF forces attack it. Suddenly, it gets dragged into the water. As they look on to see what happened, a long tail breaks the water. They realize what happened.

Nicole: Godzilla’s back for seconds.
Tim: He can have him. I’m a vegetarian.

   They make their escape as Godzilla and Ebirah battle viciously. Godzilla bites into where he injured the crustacean, drawing more blood. The Monster King does a death roll like a crocodile with its prey, intent on killing the giant lobster. He bites Ebirah in the neck, and starts surging atomic energy through the wound, until he unleashes an atomic breath that decapitates Ebirah. The King of the Monsters swims away with his prize, feeding on the carcass on his way out.

Alex: Well, I’m glad we got out of that one. We should return to a bay to fuel up.

   They reach a bay, and walk the beach while Tim and Brenda refuel the boat. Mikaela then notices a shining glimmer from a nearby cave. Mikaela runs to it, with the others behind her. She realizes it’s Dr. Spencer’s ID badge.

Mikaela: Dad was here. And look, he left a message.

   She finds the piece of paper nearby, unfolds it, and she reads it out loud to the others.

Mikaela: “To whoever finds this note, I barely survived the Sixth Extinction eco-terrorists. I am containing information that is extremely important not only to the GRF, but the survival of the human race. If I die with it, at least it will be safe with my daughter, as I emailed her a copy of it. I am hiding in the woods near Mt. Fuji.”

   She then hears a gun click behind her, causing her to freeze in fear and slowly stand up with her hands up. The other three suddenly see why: it’s Rebecca! She followed them all this way!

Rebecca: That was all I needed to hear. Thank you for doing the heavy lifting, Spencer.

   Tim and Brenda arrive to join, but Rebecca stops them dead in their tracks when she shoots at their feet but misses on purpose.

Rebecca: I’ll plant the next one in the head if you get any closer. Now, Spencer, hand over the information, and no one gets hurt.
Nicole: What information?
Rebecca: Information her father stored from years ago. Now give it to me.

   Mikaela appears as if to cooperate, handing her a different piece of paper, which has a doodle she made out of total boredom.

Rebecca: A drawing? Is this supposed to be a joke?!
Mikaela: No, this is!

   Mikaela then punches Rebecca in the nose, and the gang makes an escape for inland. Rebecca recovers, her nose now bleeding.

Rebecca: That bitch broke my nose…
Ivan: *through radio* Welker, have you retrieved the information?
Rebecca: Not yet, but I have news. Spencer is alive, and he’s hiding it in a decommissioned military base. I have an idea. Why go after them when we can trick them into coming to us?

   Intrigued, Ivan orders his men to pack up and search for the base so they can beat them there. As he makes his leave, Fubuki contacts him.

Fubuki: *through radio* Boss, I implanted the virus to hack Mechagodzilla. What are your orders?
Ivan: Meet me at Mt. Fuji. We have a little surprise en route.
