"I've heard the stories" Masaru said "You even bought out the press, didn't you?"
Aiden shrugged. "More or less" he admitted. "You gotta do something to earn some well deserved privacy, and after that issue with the tabloids last year...." He shook his head. "One press conference a year, and only on the condition they leave Elaine and Mesa alone."
"Mesa?"
Aiden smiled. "My daughter. You've seen the pictures, right?"
"Yeah, she looks like you."
"I hope it's just the looks" Aiden smiled. "It's better when she takes after her mom."
That surprised Masaru. "Why?" he asked.
"Because life isn't always easier when you're smarter than most people." Aiden replied and suddenly that smile of him seemed somewhat sad.
Yes. The mad doctor has in fact a wife and a kid. It's remarkable how she keeps up with his constant work-related traveling and his late-night laboratory hours, but he isn't a bad dad. And yeah... despite trying to prevent it the little kid does eventually take after him.

Just a quick artwork I did. Wrote a lot of Aiden lately. Sometimes just like to draw what's on my mind and not think so much about everything ^^
