Description A photo from the Wollongong competition that I didn't even realise I had. I actually quite like the lines and action of this shot, and the close focus between the couple.

Not the best photo overall, but less than two weeks until the East Coasts. Can't wait

Oh when is that photo taken ? Isnt that Michael Mizner, but the girl does not look like his russian partner.. I thought they still dancing together, at least last time I saw their name in Japan last month ...

I like the look on the man's face ^.^ I dunno what it is, but he looks like he's having fun, as he should be. But it's hard to get past that...wedgie I love the movement of her skirt though, and that more than makes up for it ^.^

Hihi, found this through Expozure, and well, couldn't resist following the link cos I thought the image was awesome, and then SHAZAAM, what do I see ...... it's by you! hehe.
Anyway. I love her arm in this. It'd be well cool if her back leg was stretched more, but the way her skirt falls (or should I say "flies" ) makes up for that. Great shot. I love the very subdued colours along with a good contrast you chose to use ... it really works for this image.

Awesome shot! I love the motion. I also like how there is just ah int of color showing. Nicely done!

Thankyou very much. I find that sometimes, with something as vivid in terms of colour as dancesport, having a little bit of colour in a B & W shot does help represent the sport better.

There are technical things like framing and focus and such that I need to improve (the difficulty is the dancers are moving so fast!), but yeah, I'm happy with how I've managed to capture lines and figures so far.

yea I know, it's difficult to get the moves rightly and just in the time on the camera. But maybe capturing the moves is the thing that makes it so interesting
