Actually. I’m starting to notice the major problem with Mystery Incorporated show as a whole. And you know what it’s the same problem as Rise of the Turtles and Teen Titans Go.

That being: The Gang is essentially all the same character.

Examples:

One episode is Velma (as well as the gang) wearing a Frenchman outfit. Now normally the joke would’ve been how out of character she was. Heck, even earlier in the episode she refused to wear a swimsuit.

So really that joke should’ve been hysterical but it’s not because she dressed like a Frenchman like the rest of them.

Another episode is Daphne’s addiction to chocolate. Again, this is a quality you could’ve given to any of them and it would make no difference. If Fred had it, the joke would’ve been the same. If Velma has it, it would’ve been the same. Heck, even if you gave it to SHAGGY AND/OR SCOOBY, the joke would’ve been the same.

Even in OTHER Scooby-Doo incarnations, such as the original. The personalities of the gang are so different. I mean they were by no means fleshed our characters. But they’re personalities were different enough to be told apart.

In Mystery Incorporated however; they’re too many time where they’re all idiots, all obsessive, all horny. They’re differences are too minor. For example, Fred is obsessed with ascots and traps. Daphne and Velma are obsessed with Fred and Shaggy respectively. And Shaggy and Scooby (big shock) eat alot. They’re even made fun of that as well.

And that’s the problem, they’re differences are only used for jokes and plot devices. 

Even though the voice acting and deliveries from them are still good. When ANYTHING in the script works. It’s all based on WHAT’s being said or what NEEDS to happen. Not WHO said it.

So yeah! I think that’s the major problem with this show as a whole.

with every passing scooby doo episode i have EVER watched, i've yearned for velma and shaggy to end up together. FINALLY.

Fred needs to notice Daphne's love for him, and Shaggy needs to get over his worry that Scooby would be jealous!
