this photo was taken at a park the i used to visit often before i moved away. i would sit or lay on a blanket in the speckly shade under the trees and listen to the water pass by while i read a book while my husband waded in the nearby water to fly fish. this slowly changed as i had a baby sitting next to me and then a toddler and then i had a large pregnant belly, and then two. that was the last time i spent an afternoon here and i miss it now. i hope i can find somewhere like this now that i've moved. it's wonderful to have a quiet place to feel close to nature and god.
