I like the soft look and atmosphere of these portraits (although Sasuke's background could use something extra. Naruto has the leaves and clouds, Sakura has the petals and cherry blossoms, Sasuke has the DEATH FROM ABOVE and...what?) but methinks you made Naruto's right cheek just a lil' bit too soft and cushy. And fat. But maybe that suits his new frog thang.

God your going to hate me by the end of this.
I think this looks good all except for the left cheek. In my opinion it looks as though the light source is coming from slightly behind the character, but the light source on the left cheek (his right) seem over dominant. It looks as though it has direct contact with the light, but I wouldn't think it would. It makes that one cheek seem pudgy like it is sticking out beyond the nose.
I like this piece I really do, but that one part bothers me. I am beginning to feel like an ass, constantly saying you have things wrong with your images, and your the great danimation.
But it is called a critique, so I don't feel too bad about it. I just think the one cheek should be a little darker and a little less saturated.

I lurv it! The colours are bright without being obscene and he's got Naruto's intense "I'm gonna kick your ass and become Hokage, and you're gonna like it, bitch" expression that Kishimoto does so well (but the anime usually doesn't...). And when I look at it compared to the other two it makes him stand out even more since thier colouration is much more cool (and complements each other) whereas Naruto's colour scheme has always beat to it's own drum.
You should put all three of them into one image (maybe Naruto-Sakura-Sasuke since the various floating bits in the picture seem to be gaining speed in that sequence? At least to my eye...).

I really like the metal headband alot, alot of the time with a piece it will have a certain mood and then the metallic parts will look seperate from the piece, but this looks like it fits .

As a critique id like to say that his hair doesn't seem right to me, seems like there's not enough volume, perhaps a little bit more sticking out behind the headband would make it look a bit better.
Your rendering and coloring is fantastic, but one thing that bothers me is the dark line around the bottom of his face, I think it's a bit strong.

Still doesn't really make sense how he doesn't sweat with such a thick collar. Even if they are strong enough to run through the trees for miles, why don't they ever bring water, if they run in a non-water source area? Have to get thirsty sometimes, and not everyone can bring water up from the ground by digging or powers. Crazy cartoon physics.
